Just a reminder that we have a short (but mandatory) parent meeting Sep. 28th at 5:30pm.  We will cover plans for this year, our new handbook, and someother stuff.  See you there!

GBSYO registration will be Monday Sep. 21st from 4:45 (Juniors)  and 5:45 (Seniors).   A couple of notes for registration this year:

• The GBSYO has decided to keep the registration fees the same this year (in spite of rising costs), but we are asking everyone to kick in and help with fundraising.  We are trying to avoid letting fundraising become a burden, but it is VERY important that we work hard this year to get the GBSYO to a ‘break even’ level (more about this later).
• Please bring a parent/guardian if you are under 18 years of age to register you and sign the required paperwork.  Due to legal reasons we can’t let any child/youth without signed paperwork participate!!
• Like other years, if you can’t cover the full fees then you can apply for financial assistance (instructions will be available at registration).
• Finally, there is a mandatory parent/guardian meeting on Sep. 28 at 5:45.

Richard already has exciting plans in place including a Christmas performance with an Owen Sound choir, but we will let him give you the good news.  Let the GBSYO 2009/2010 Season begin!

Richard et al. are just making final arrangements, but it looks like we will be practicing on Mondays again – so keep those Mondays free!  By the end of the first week of school we will have the schedule up, including the upcoming registration night.  No one will be surprised to hear that Richard has lots of exciting plans for this year!
