Our annual Christmas concert is at Georgian Shores United Church (formerly Division St. United Church), and admission is by donation – the best deal of the Christmas season! Come and enjoy a wonderful concert and enjoy some treats afterwards – a feast for the body and soul!

There are only a few days until our new season begins, so get the summer dust off those instruments! In Richard’s email he suggested that Sep. 12 would be our start date, but OSCVI is NOT available on the 12th – so the 19th is our Registration and first rehearsal. Remember that players of all ages and abilities are welcome, so see you then!

Join us for a special concert celebrating five years of the GBSYO!!! This coming Monday May 30 at 7:30 at Division St. United in Owen Sound. Admission is by donation, so come out and enjoy a wonderful evening of music by the award winning GBSYO!!!

GBSYO Double Gold!!

Congratulations to the GBSYO on their double gold Kiwanis performance last night! Both the Mozart Symphony # 25 and the fourth movement of Beethoven #2 were amazing, perhaps the GBSYO’s best performance to date – worthy of the standing ovation they received. What a great way to celebrate the 5th year anniversary of the GBSYO!! On behalf of the parents, congratulations. We can’t wait for the 5th anniversary concert!!

First of all thanks to everyone for the weather-delayed concert that went wonderfully last week. It was great to see the OSCVI folks and the GBSYO play together!
